The big decision!

Where oh where do I begin? I suppose I'll start with the night I came home & re-introduced an idea that Chad had been trying to talk me into for several months. I came home from just another day at work and poored my self a very large glass of wine so I could have the liquid courage to tell Chad that I was actually considering this master plan.
What plan? The plan to liquidate the biggest investments that we owned & travel the country.
It didn't sound nearly as crazy coming out of my mouth as I thought it would. We decided to sleep onit for a few nights & then revisit the idea over the weekend. All week we both couldn't stop thinking about how the timing was so perfect and how much fun it would be to see parts of the country that we had never seen. The end of Chad's position was in sight so he didn't have to worry about answering to a job if we wanted to go away & as you all know we don't have any little ones that we have to take care of either.
The biggest feat was going to be selling the house in a market like this, but we figured we would give it a shot & if it didn't sell for exactly what we wanted then we would stay & take it as a sign.
It is amazing how many things get fixed when you put your house on the market. We have been in the house for over three years & all those little projects that we kept putting off were magically fixed in two weeks! The house was on the market on Monday & much to everyones suprise (mine especaially) it sold the following Sunday. Thanks to my brother AKA brotha Ward the Realtor the house sold for exactly what we wanted.
